SL 2012After 20 years in the sustainability sector and a 10 year focus on sport, I have seen a marked increase in sport’s engagement with sustainability in response to the expectations of stakeholders and sponsors. Team Planet helps organisations meet their sustainability requirements, particularly those working in the sports sector looking to benefit by doing sustainability well.

I have a deep knowledge of the issues and opportunities connecting sustainability and sport: from assessing and mitigating the impact of sport events to ensuring positive community, legacy and communications outcomes.

At WWF, I helped develop and implement the One Planet Olympic framework for the London 2012 Olympic Games and managed relationships with the Olympic authorities in what became the ‘greenest Games ever’. I was also an IOC Observer at the Beijing Olympics and supported work with Vancouver 2010, Sochi 2014 and Rio 2016 and partners including Coca-Cola, HSBC, Sky, FISA World Rowing, SportAccord, UNEP, SportBusiness and several communications agencies.
